Meet Becky

Mom, Nurse, and Functional Health Practitoner

Becky is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and she spent over a decade caring for women in a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit and OB/GYN clinics. Supporting moms has always been her passion but it wasn’t until she became a mom herself that she truly saw the gaps in our healthcare system.

When her first son was just weeks old, she realized how conventional medicine often treats symptoms instead of searching for the root cause. Her concerns were dismissed. Her intuition as a mother was overlooked. She was left to dig for answers on her own—wading through frustration, confusion, and exhaustion. But when she finally uncovered the root cause, everything made sense—and his symptoms improved. That experience lit a fire in her: no mom should have to walk that road alone.

She also realized this root cause approach didn’t just apply to feeding. It applied to her too. The fatigue. The anxiety. The digestive issues. All the symptoms she had brushed off as “normal mom life”. When she got the root of her symptoms, she felt like herself again. Present. Energized. Clear.

Becky-Maupin-Family-Functional Medicine

Today, she’s a mom of four boys and wife to the most supportive husband. She understands what it’s like to juggle motherhood, persistent symptoms, and a deep desire to feel like yourself again. She’s seen
firsthand how a mother’s wellness influences her entire home—and how hard it is to pour from an empty cup.

She founded Rooted and Restored Functional Health to be the support she once needed—to listen, validate, and walk with moms as they search for real, lasting answers. She believes in practical, non-judgmental care that honors your intuition and fits into your lifestyle—not the other way around.

Together, we focus on healing your roots so you can restore your health, thrive in your everyday life, and
create a ripple effect of wellness for generations to come.

“When a mother is restored, everything around her begins to heal too.”
